As it always does, the summer flew by. I spent my last few days exploring Brooklyn, relaxing and having some good food.
This is one of the first summers when the days went by incredibly slowly. This is probably because I stayed home for the majority of my time off, leaving me antsy and wishing I was somewhere else. Now don't get me wrong-I love New York City more than anything, but I was simply ready for school to start again. Although perhaps strange, I like having structure to my schedule, which is what school allows.
It's my last year in the city (at least for now), as I leave for college next fall. The whole process is incredibly exhausting and stressful, but I know it will all be worth it in the end (as cliché as that sounds). In the meantime, here are some photographs I took over the weekend.
From top to bottom and left to right: My mother's sewing supplies, lunch at Station and a view of Manhattan from Brooklyn, flowers in Brooklyn and Rick in the pool with Zelda, more flowers in Brooklyn, and my Soludos on the beach.
